White Cloth Wheel

Description

A white cloth buffing wheel is typically made from soft cotton or muslin and is used together with polishing compounds to buff, shine, and clean a wide range of surfaces. It's best suited for final-stage mirror finishing on metals, plastics, glass, and jewelry, rather than heavy material removal. Different white cloth types — such as silver finish, double flannel, single flannel, calico, and various quality grades — are used depending on the material being polished.

Applications

  • Achieving a high-gloss mirror finish on gold, silver, platinum, and other precious accessories using fine rouge
  • Polishing aluminum, brass, copper, and stainless steel to a brilliant shine after initial scratch-cutting
  • Buffing automotive trim, chrome parts, and metal handles to remove minor haziness
  • Cleaning and smoothing light blemishes on acrylic, visors, and glassware
  • Final buffing and waxing stages for a smooth, glossy finish on wooden crafts
